ARMENIA-TURKEY CINEMA PLATFORM 2015 YEREVAN WORKSHOP – 10 PARTICIPANTS SELECTED
Armenia-Turkey Cinema Platform (ATCP) Project Development Workshop will be held in Yerevan on 13-14 of July 2015, in the framework of the 12th Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival at Ani Plaza Hotel.
The workshop will consist of trainings, presentations, one to one meetings and project pitches. The winner of the workshop will be awarded with a prize of 10,000 USD.
The Call for applications was announced on 1st of May, 2015 and the deadline for entries was June 10th. During this period the platform has received 24 projects from Armenia, Turkey and Diaspora. The following 10 projects were carefully chosen by the Selection committee consisting of film/media experts from Armenia and Turkey.

10. ESTRANGEMENT – director and producer Haci Orman (Turkey – short fiction)
The jurors of the workshop are Cigdem Mater from Anadolu Kultur, Melek Ulagay Taylan, producer and documentary director from Turkey, Adelina Cüberyan v. Fürstenberg, an international art curator and independent film producer, Switzerland, Gözde Onaran film critic, editorial board member of Altyazı Monthly Cinema Magazine, Turkey, Gegham Manukyan, director, producer and head of Yerkir Media TV news & politics programs, Armenia, Inna Sahakyan, producer, director and deputy director of Bars Media documentary film production company, Armenia, and Susanna Harutyunyan, film critic, co-founder and Artistic Director of Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival.
ATCP began in 2008 as a cooperation between the non-profit company Anadolu Kültür (Turkey) and the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival (Armenia). It is a common network for the filmmakers of both countries, for cooperation and making films together. ATCP has supported the production of 17 films by filmmakers from Armenia and Turkey since it was established.
